Pensions Champions - update
Dear Pensions Champions,
Thank you once again for continuing your work as a pensions point of contact for members in your area.
Intense negotiations have been underway and although some of you will be in regular contact with your regions and be checking the UNISON website for updates, we thought it would be useful to email you all and ensure you are aware of the latest pension resources.
All schemes are nearing the stage where details will go out of a final offer - final proposals will be considered by the service group executives and then members will be consulted.
As pensions champions you’ll probably find you are getting increased questions about what’s happening. To help you with these queries please follow the following links to our most up to date resources. All documents can also be found on our main pensions campaign website http://www.unison.org.uk/pensions/ and we anticipate more resources coming on line over the next few week
Training is also available - please let your region know if you would like some training and they should be able to help you with this.
Regards
Michelle Singleton
On behalf of the Pensions Campaign Team
